NCAA Initial Eligibility/Prospective Student-Athletes

If you plan to participate in intercollegiate athletics at an NCAA Division I or II university, you must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. The NCAA Eligibility Center evaluates your courses, grades, and test scores to determine if you meet the minimum academic requirements and are eligible. The NCAA highly recommends students begin planning their path to eligibility as early as 9th grade. If students have any interest in playing collegiate sports, they should notify their counselor as early as possible to ensure they are enrolled in NCAA-approved courses. You can find the academic eligibility requirements on the NCAA Eligibility Center's website, which is linked below, in addition to links to Lew-Port's NCAA-approved course list, the NCAA Initial Eligibility Flyer, and the NCAA Registration Checklist. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact your counselor.
